Do you collect anything besides smurf figurines? The glasses and mugs guarantee the most colourful and realistic themes of smurf land.
The picture you see on the top of this web page is the theme of one of my favourite smurf glasses. It is from France and I found it on a fleamarket in Canada along with three more different glasses from that series. They are from 1988 licensed by IMPS and were most likely mustard glasses. This is how my glass colletion started off. The other three glasses feature Gargamel and Azrael, Smurfette, and Fisherman with bucket full of fish, a beach ball, an umbrella. This is how my glass colletion started off.
Another glass from my collection, which is definitely amongst my favourites, features a Smurf with a pot full of honey chased by a bunch of bees. This one is from 1990 licensed by IMPS.
In 1996 there was a series of glasses by Amora from France. As you can tell by the picture below, they were mustard glasses. Each glass from this series features a different smurf character and the name is written on the glass in artistic letters.

Anyways, besides those glasses from France, there are many others around, that come from the U.S. There is for example, a Wallace Berrie & Co. series distributed by Hardee's in 1982. Brainy, Gargamel and Azrael, Grouchy, Hefty, Jokey, Lazy, Papa Smurf, and Smurfette are part of it.
In 1983 there was another series by Hardee's, which included Baker Smurf, Clumsy Smurf, Handy Smurf, Harmony Smurf, Papa Smurf, and Smurfette. All the Hardee's glasses are quite common.Further you can find Canadian glasses, 4 3/8", pedestal (base of the glass is thinner than the top part), showing just a particular Smurf. On one glass you find a guitar player, then a fishing Smurf, a Smurf playing a drum, one carrying sports equipment, a guard with a lance, a Smurf King, Flying Smurferman, a Smurf Prisoner with ball and chain, Papa Smurf as a conductor, a Hockey player, a Trumpet player, and Spy.
Since there are so many more wonderful smurf glasses available, I have decided to share my glass collection with you via a slide show. A special Thank-you to my friend Tina. Just click on the Smurf back or Smurf on below to have a look at them. You must have Java Script enabled! Enjoy!
